The annual Summer School for Year 6 students will take place on Monday 27 July 2026 – Thursday 30 July 2026. Each day will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm at the Lower School site on Darwin Lane.

Students will take part in an exciting number of activities each day including circus skills, cooking and sport sessions. Students will need to wear appropriate clothing and trainers for the physical activities. Team building skills will be developed through the range of activities on offer.

Your child will need to eat breakfast before coming to the Summer School each morning and bring a packed lunch and snacks to eat during the day. Please note that fizzy or high energy drinks are not permitted because we are a healthy school.

If your child is in receipt of free school meals or pupil premium your child will be eligible for a subsidised place at a cost of £40.00 for the week. The cost for all other children for the week is £100.00 per child.

Places for Summer School are limited and are often over-subscribed. If you would like to be considered for a place at our Summer School please complete the google consent form by clicking on this link xxx by Friday 12 June 2026.

Once a place has been allocated to your child, we will contact you via email to pay the required fee within five working days via a Bank Transfer. If payment is not received by 6 July, then your place may be forfeited and offered to another pupil on the waiting list.

• Places will be allocated at the beginning of July. An email will be sent out to offer you a place.  In order to confirm your place, payment will be due within five working days by 6 July. (Please remember to check your spam folder)
• If you wish to come for the first part of the week only, then the full payment will still be charged as Summer School is funded by the places offered, a place is offered on a full-time basis
• Refunds will only be issued if you withdraw your child and we are able to re-fill their place
• Unfortunately, we are unable to accept childcare vouchers
• Your child must be signed in by a parent/carer/responsible adult on the first morning at 10.00am to ensure that all information you submitted on the consent form is up to date and still correct
• The only information the leader of Summer School has about your child is what you fill in on the consent form, please ensure that it is filled in accurately as no other information is available to staff until they are officially enrolled in September
