We are very proud of the performance of all our students. Below are the most recent Key Stage 4 examination results, which can also be found on the government's website here
Examination results 2025
GCSEs
- 76% of students achieved Grades 9-4 in English and Mathematics
- 54.2% of students achieved Grades 9-5 in English and Mathematics
- 15.4% of students achieved Grades 9-7 (A/A*) in English and Mathematics
- 76.2% of all GCSE passes are Grade 4 or above (Grade C and above)
- 24.3% of all GCSE passes are Grade 7 or above (A/A*)
Level 2 BTEC
- 71.4% of students achieved Level 2 Distinction* Level 2 Pass (9-4 equivalent)
- 53.6% of students achieved Level 2 Distinction* Level 2 Merit (9-5/6 equivalent)
- 19% of students achieved Level 2 Distinction* Level 2 Distinction (9-7 equivalent)

Key Stage 5 (2024-25)
Our students received excellent A Level and BTEC results in August 2025 with 75% of students achieving A*-B Grade. The results have enabled students to pursue their chosen progression routes including apprenticeships, employment and higher education courses at colleges and universities including Oxford.
A Levels
- 98% pass rate A*-E
- 23% of all entries were A*-A grades
- 53% of all entries were A*-B grades
- Average A Level grade = B-
BTEC
- 100% pass rate
- Average BTEC grade = Distinction
Highlights
- 204 students gained a place at university
- 85% of students who applied to university got a place
- Two students secured places at Oxford University (26 students in the last five years have secured a place at Oxford or Cambridge University)
- 11 other early applicants were successful
- 5 for medicine
- 5 for dentistry
- 1 for veterinary science
- 86 students gained places at Russell Group universities
- 52 students gained places at Sheffield Hallam University and 17 at Sheffield University
